*Registration fee covers the cost of all six sessions plus a take-home kit for each participant.

Sponsored by McKenzie College, this program is designed for girls ages 12-16 who are looking for knowledge, skills and tools to guide them through their teens. 

The program consists of six 2-hour workshops which will be held in the evening at McKenzie College. Each session, facilitated by France Bouchard-Michaud and Heather Jones, will deal with different themes such as:

What's Ahead?

Happy Healthy You

Make-up / Let's face it

Nailed it

Teen Talks has partnered with AVEDA and will have trained Aveda educators for two of the sessions to provide hands-on experiences dealing with skincare, makeup, hair care and aromatherapy.  Other themes for the sessions include nail care and nail art with a trained nail technician, a physical workout with a trained instructor, personal well-being with a licensed counsellor, and much more.

France, the former owner of Medes SPA and Medes College, has a background in nursing and esthetics. Her career began in the mental health sector and her entrepreneurial skills lead her to a career with a focus on health and wellness.

HEATHER JONES (Educator/Coach/Consultant)
Heather, the former Director of Education for the Greater Moncton area, began her career teaching in the public-school system. Her career leads her to training teachers at the college level through her development and delivery of teacher certification programs. As well, she has international experience setting up private schools in Turkey.
