To avoid delays in processing your application to McKenzie College, please read this information carefully and submit all required materials with your completed application form.

Entrance Requirements:

1. Spaces for each program are limited. Submit your application as soon as possible before commencement dates. You can also apply online.

2. For all McKenzie programs, we must receive the following materials before your application is considered complete:

• A completed application form
• Copies of academic certificates or diplomas (Minimum requirement: grade 12 or equivalency)
• Copies of academic transcripts
• A personal profile letter describing your ambitions, goals, personal/career objectives, computer skills, and the reason why you want to take this program
• Two reference letters ‚Äì two letters from either a present or past employer, or someone who can comment on your work habits and abilities relevant to the program
• A $25.00 registration fee (This is non-refundable but will be applied against your tuition if you are accepted into the program)

3. For application to the Graphic Design and Game Development programs, we require samples of creative work you have completed using any media – digital or otherwise. (i.e.: hand drawings, paintings, digital illustrations, websites, photography, ceramics, sculpture etc.)

5. For application to the Visual Arts Foundation program, you must complete and submit the portfolio requirements hand-out (downloadable here.)

Submit all of the above required material to the main office.

6. When all required materials have been received, an admissions panel will review your application. As part of the admissions process, a personal interview will be required.
