Our Advance camps are designed for those 14 years of age and older, who wish to explore Art and Design-based topics to advance their skills as a hobby or to get a feel for instruction at a college level.
Students will learn the basic workings of their Digital SLR cameras. Basic camera operations, interfaces, menus, settings and shooting modes are covered. Full manual control is also covered with control of exposure through ISO, shutter speed, and aperture.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get feedback on your current work or to simply receive information on how to get started with your portfolio. You will receive a series of projects that explore many different areas of art and design. There may also be an opportunity to work on your own projects under the guidance of our talented, knowledgeable, McKenzie College instructors right in our college studios.
