2 sessions of 3 weeks each summer!
During this camp, international High school students Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 can experience the sights, landscape and activities of Atlantic Canada while developing their artistic skills and visual literacy toward a stronger art portfolio.
In the mornings, Art classes focus on sharpening students’ techniques with acrylic, charcoal, pastel and then some, while learning key principles in colour theory, character design, perspective, realism, abstract, to name a few.
In the afternoons, the program includes visits to local parks, museums, city festivals and activities and creative or sporting competitions, as well as meeting with other summer camps, which may include singing competitions, science demonstrations, kayaking, going to the beach, and much more. We visit the Hopewell Rocks, Fundy Park, Joggins Fossil Park, the Moncton Zoo, Butterfly World, Magnetic Hill Magic Mountain Water Park, Parlee Provincial Park, Moncton artisan village, Inspire Festival and Centennial Park. Please note that some activities may change with short notice.
Accommodation is provided through a university campus at a location in Moncton near the College and includes meals (breakfast, lunch, supper).
